February 2018: Kingsgate Consolidated (ASX:KCN) is progressing with a drilling campaign that aims to expand the mineral resources at its Nueva Esperanza project, following recently released results for the silver rich area at West Cerro Blanco.
The company had drilled 1,136m across nine holes by the end of 2017 and their best results are: 18m @ 207.54g/t Ag (KRC066), 42m @ 41.58g/t Ag (KRCO58), 30m @ 32.26g/t Ag (KRCO59), 12m @ 44.35g/t Ag (KRCO63) y 22m @ 46.01g/t Ag (KRCO65).
This has confirmed that the mineralized silver oxide mantle forms a continuous cover that extends for over 300m in an east-west direction and over 600m in a north-easterly direction. The mineralization is characterized by a marked iron oxide presence and is mainly found in stratified dacitic and advanced argillic tuffs. (Read more)
